I have been incredibly blessed to meet so many beautiful Mommas all around NJ and NYC for the last 10 years of my photography career.
I love being able to do something special and give back to the community. For the last Holiday season, me and my amazing makeup artist from "Makeup by Saby" decided to do a contest and chose a lucky mommy to be for a maternity session.
I was so elated when I found out Sofi was the beautiful lucky momma to win the contest. We styled her head to toe, and she looked just stunning on every single thing we put her in, I was also able to take a few beautiful captures with her partner.
These are a few of my favorite images from Sofi's maternity session.
This was definitely one in a lifetime photos session opportunity. It's not every day when you have a set of identical twin sisters pregnant at the same time, with their first baby. Two baby girls!
I was so inspired by Celezte and Guadalupe, not only were they incredibly gorgeous Costa Rican beauties on the outside, also beautiful on the inside.
We spent a beautiful day with them at the studio located in Woodland park New Jersey. getting their hair and makeup done as well as playing dress up with all the beautiful choices I offer on my client closet.
They are identical twins, but surely are different and had their vision for their maternity session. We worked on customizing their session and styling, from hair and makeup to their beautiful set ups.
Celezte loved the flowers, glam, feminine and flirty colors, waves in her hair and glamorous makeup. Guadalupe loves neutral tones and a more minimalistic approach when it came to her glam still beautiful and timeless.
Twins have a special bond and you can definitely see it in this dynamic duo.
Here are a few of my favorite from their session!
The Okereke family had a gorgeous maternity session at my studio located in Woodland Park NJ. This beautiful family drove all the way from Hawthorne to have a portrait session with me.
I loved working with Ugochi. Picking outfits from my client closet, meeting her beautiful family and creating some beautiful mommy and me portraits with her daughter before becoming a big sister.
I cannot get over this maternity session in the studio. It was simple and timeless, and will be a session I’ll remember forever. I owe every bit of that to these three. Not only were they total naturals in front of the camera, but their connection and excitement was almost palpable. You can see it in their photos, and it’s a feeling they will be able to remember forever.
More and more clients are choosing studio maternity sessions, and I am not the least bit upset about it. These sessions are often overlooked but some of my absolute favorite to photograph.
If you’re considering a maternity session in the studio, consider these four things.
As much as I love the beach and park, there is just something that’s so timeless about the studio. A lot of times clients will struggle with choosing a location. Most think that they HAVE to go to the beach for a beautiful sunset session or the park for beautiful greens. But that’s just not true. The studio may not have those epic backdrops, but it does allow us to make YOU the focus, and when we do that, we’re able to create the most beautiful portraits.
Depending on the time of year, outdoor locations can be really crowded and it can be a big distraction. The studio ensures that it’s just you and there’s a lot of comfort that comes with that for pregnant Mama’s. This is an extremely vulnerable time, and I want you to be comfortable in the space you are in.
The studio also allows for more intimate photos between you and your partner, as well as the dresses or outfits you choose. I love it when Mama’s want to document their beautiful baby bump. I find that a lot of time’s moms are more comfortable doing that in a more private setting, like the studio.
Need I say more? The weather here in Fairfield County can be unpredictable and timing the seasons is almost impossible. When you go with a studio session, you’re eliminating those elements and also any stress that could come with needing to make last minute decisions based on weather.
Can’t choose just one dress? That’s fine! In the studio, you’re able to change a lot easier, so wearing more than one dress is certainly an option! Ugochi chose four different dresses, all coordinating with one another, and I absolutely loved the end result!

Alison contacted me to photograph her son, Kosta, for his milestone cake smash session. We opted for and in studio session with beautiful neutral colors. I love doing this type of timeless cake smash sessions for my clients. Kosta was such a good little model. Kosta’s milestone portraits turned out amazing.
I love this neutral palette. It is classic and will look amazing on any wall, in any home. No matter the décor in your home this will look great for years to come. The best part is that we guide you through the entire process. We will help you find the best solution for your portrait needs. There is no guess work, we can create a mockup of the portrait on your size wall, to make sure it is perfect the first time.

Livet and her family brought so much love and fun to their maternity session. They are so excited to meet their baby girl. Cairo is so thrilled to be a big brother. He loves so much already, and he hasn’t even met her yet. I can only imagine their bond once Cairo finally meets his little sister.
Livet’s smile is so contagious. You cannot help but smile and be happy looking at these photographs. Nothing is more beautiful than capturing emotion through the lens. During Livet’s style consultation she mentioned she wanted an outdoor session. We choose Mill Creek Park in Secaucus, New Jersey. She specifically wanted to capture the beautiful sunset. She also got her makeup done with us. Yes, we offer makeup with outdoor sessions as well. No matter the setting we will take care of you.
