This lady, oh this lady. I absolutely loved her session!
Regina (Elaina's mom) contacted me for a newborn session before her precious girl was born. At the time she did not know whether she was expecting a baby girl or a boy as they wanted to keep the sex of the baby a surprise. During the session planning process Regina showed me photos of the nursery which was decorated on a modern gray color and the theme was elephants. What a cute nursery that was!
I can't tell you why (I don't even know) I had a gut feeling she was a girl, I'm almost always right when parents tell me they are waiting for the baby to be born to know the sex, I start wondering and try to guess what they are having, it's a gift hehe!
As soon as Elaina was born her mom contacted me again with the news and were trying to pick colors for her photo session and we agreed that deep purple, soft pink, gray and ivory was the way to go.
I went to their home in River Vale NJ the day of the session and was so happy to see how chunky Elaina was. She was almost 10 pounds at birth. I melt at the sight of baby rolls and chubby cheeks.
We started out with gray, Elaina was so sleepy for her session and made my job so much easier!
That smiley photo of her with her Elephant was priceless and was of course her mommy's favorite when she chose her print.
Then we used purple, pink and ivory and oh that elephant hat looked so perfect on her! Then we did photos with her mommy.
I absolutely loved working with Elaina and I sure look forward to seeing more of her in the future!
